We are planning on going to negril in a year, and my fioncee has dreadlocs. She is a white girl, and is nervous about being harassed or targeted. Will this be an issue?

We have never been to the island before, and want very much to go.. but have heard horror stories and are getting a bit nervous.

the person expressed concerns about horror stories, and about possible reaction to his fiancee's hairstyle, and ur response is to ignore his comments and focus instead on other posters, while asking the person to pm you... i guess that's some kind of service.

anyway, carry on with ur thing. i still believe the person needs to reconsider, because why spend time and money toing to a place where ur unsure of ur safety? my daughter had a choice of grad trips to dominican republic or mexico and chose dr because she was unsure about her safety in mexico. i don't see a problem with that.
