the "new" AI near Lucea is running specials right now
i hear good things about The Grand Pineapple
Charela has hot tubs in some rooms - you can include food or not (reminds me of a jamaica inn atmosphere) - French-Jamaican cuisine
and Catcha is very romantic - not AI but excellent restaurant on premises - i love the shrimp wrapped in plantains - yumComment

or - I have heard good things about Idle Awhile - not sure if they are all inclusive ~

If your staying in Negril the best place to stay is tensin pen.If you want a cheaper place banana shout is great.If you want to stay in Montegobay there is many hotels, but i love hotel Gloriana it is cheap but it is clean and you can meet pleanty of locals and enjoy the real Jamaica.Comment

yeah - I would be hard pressed to do any All Inclusive ... so much variety round Negril too keep to just one place.
upscale spots for nuff fine dining ~ and the local bang for your buck shacks ~
I wonder if you picked a place - if you could do a meal plan deal with them ... even if they did not advertise one??Comment

Some time back - Orbra stayed at Sea Grape Villas ... that place always looked so romantical and lovely as well. I just googled them - they offer a cook - so I bet they would do some sort of 'meal plan' ...Comment

I've stayed been to Jamaica 14 times staying at all-inclusives.
We have stayed at everything from Hedo to Lido. Also the Sandals line and most of the Super Clubs and Couples resorts.
You want either Couples Negril or the Grand Lido in Negril.
Beware that the Lido resorts are changing over to the Breezes line in the fall of this year.
I would suggest Couples. It's excellent.Comment
