American Airlines raises checked-bag fee

FORT WORTH, Texas - It's going to cost you more to check bags on an American Airlines flight.

American said Friday that checking the first bag will cost $20, up from $15, and a second bag will cost $30, up from $25.

The change takes effect on domestic-travel tickets bought after Aug. 13.

Next they will be charging for the air conditioner (you would have the option of leaving your vent closed if you don't want to pay, to be monitored by the flight attendants in between selling 2.00 Pringles and 7.00 (up from 5.00 last year).

Then they could always charge for using the reading light, blankets/pillows, why not the restroom, put a pay box on the outside, and imagine what they could get for the barff bags.

Ryanair (the low cost in Europe) applied to allowfor it's passengerst to lean in an upright position during the flight so as to ram 200 people in a plane made to carry 100.

That's the next step, stand up for 4 hours like on a bus.
