Last night in my dreams.
Actually, I woke up there this morning. It was very nice!
It was all pretty jumbled...as dreams often are, but one thing that was clear is the fact I hadn't been back in 7 years. I brought my man to show him my Jamaica, the one where most tourists don't venture to...the off the beaten path excursions.
There was a big old white building with hardwood floors and many doors along with a fancy dining room, which was actually the old Milk River Bath hotel, but it was where Little Ochie is and it was much bigger and longer.
We were walking through the old hotel from one end to the other in order to get to the beach so we could to walk to the Sea Riv, which was where I actually did spend my first trips to Jamaica. Suddenly, we ran into someone I had met on that very first trip so we decided to stay there for the night and visit.
We just got all comfy in a general sitting room and were hanging out with other peeps I had met that first trip when poof, ChaCha was doing the "I wanna go out potty, mom" dance on my pillow so that was the end of that dream.
Anyway, I'm slowly planning my next trip and I'll take this as a sign that Alligator Pond might very well be one of the first stops. I want to go there and over by Ochie to hang out with the Jamaica dog sled peeps and then maybe on over by Port Antonio. I'm reasonably certain I'll never go to DisNaygril again.
I'd rather stay home than do that.
