hey jaith..can you just picture the bull story happening? You've prolly seen something similar over there! And over by Shaggy's too. I am so saddened to hear of his passing.

So that makes 3 peeps in my journals gone now. Prolly many more i don;t know of. See, I'm having less and less reason to go to that end of the island. It's just time for a new haunt, ya know?

i was gonna put my journal excerpt here about my walk through the bush to Tsmall's house....part of it involved a walk through a herd of VERY LARGE CATTLE.....they were quite calm, but i was not. i wondered how long it would take people to find my ded, gored body out there.....probably just follow the joncrow.

I have been keeping a journal religiously for about 15 years, I have them tucked away in a storage bin under my bed. You ladies have inspired me to go pull them out and read some of the ones that I kept on my trips and my six month stay in Jamaica.

Up early watching channel 35 out of Erie. So strange to see local news and weather down here. We are off to Moxons today for the night. We will have the whole place to ourselves for 50$ Arrived and was given the keys to the castle. The caretaker takes off, carrying a pot of soup, going to the jail in St Ann to see his brother who got a DUI.
Rest and pipe dreams all day. Capt Simms pulls up by boat and DV and Gaye show up also. There are tabletops and floors in this 5 bdrm residence that were made from the Ancient coconut trees that were distroyed all over the island. There are also 10 rooms of different personalities here.
We comb this beautiful peice of property and party on every deck and balcony here.
We walk over to Skips and have a bite to eat and check out the neighborhood.
Later, we are looking at photos on the walls and realize that one of the owners is the sister to a former Prime Minister. Interesting.

Off to Port Royal in the morning..

Those floors were extraordinary! I wonder if the new owner was able to keep the tables. We had our eye on that parcel until fate steered us elsewhere.

The Moxon story is very interesting. I was told he was awarded that piece of property after retiring from the British military. Any truth to that? Is the date above 1890's?
