OK...so I have not been back to JA in a while and want to spend Christmas and New Years with the family down there.
In addition to staying with family, I'd like to go to an AI on the North Coast (Negril, Mobay whichever) for a few days with the hubby and kids. I need your help and recommendation.
Problem is...I think I'm getting a little picky looking at some of these hotel rooms online. Can someone point me to an AI that would suit my delicate sensibilities? Here are some key things about me, though:
1. I'm not a "rustic" kind a gal. I want to be a "tourist" for a change
2. I hate "grungy", "icky" bathrooms (meaning the ones you have to stand on your toes to bathe in cause you don't want to touch anything)
3. I hate tile, but since most hotels in JA have white tiles in the rooms...I can deal with it, but it maust be clean and well maintained.
3. I have a 5 yr old..need activities for him
4. Room must be well-maintained. I can't tek di dirty, tired looking places.
5. Based on what I see online, I am willing to pay about US$1200 for about a 5 night stay.
With all the above, is it even possible? Help!
