Good morning everyone.

I'm beginning dislike Jamaica. It was hotter than hot, mosquitoes bite my backside, expensive food, the beggars were relentless in Sav and Negril. Could not enjoy the beach even at an all-inclusive for the beach boys haggaling and harrassing you for whatever (one mad man stood at the beach edge and yelled out crazy stuff all fricking day) Security would move him down but he never left (very bad for tourism). The guests at the hotel were so sick of him. The environment has been trashed out, the burning of plastic and rubbish I could hardly breath, and all the trash people throw down (Sav Primary School yard looks like a trash landfill), the scrawny pitiful animals, it's becoming more like Haiti. I pray for Jamaica and the sweet people that have to deal with all this on a daily basis.

Good morning Schultz! Sorry you had to experience alla that BS! Well, I could have gone back by now but your descriptions are why I'm making plans to go elsewhere. But...reading Nylah's trip report sure makes me want to check out that part of the Island. I think Westmoreland has turned into a armpit, or sewer if you will...

Hi Rootsie! Yes, that's kinda how I feel Nooks. I had a nice time with my friends there and poor them as they get sick of all the things I listed too. No wonder so many want to go farrin.

I enjoyed a couple of days up with <span style="color: #CC66CC">Cher </span>this weekend, it's always wonderful to see my long time <span style="color: #CC33CC">friend</span>.

Other then that, I'm working on a painting and loving the <span style="color: #FF6600">colors</span>, as it comes to <span style="color: #990000">life</span>.

I agree with Schultz that life here in the Negril / Sav area is trying at times and just getting out of this part of <span style="color: #FFCC00">Jamaica</span> for a couple of days was uplifting. I think this is a <span style="color: #6600CC">nice</span> spot to <span style="color: #FF6600">vaca</span> in but there are so many other spots in Jamaica where the quality of <span style="color: #006600">living is nicer</span>, in my opinion.

No, no ballot, the Governor decided Georgia needed the $$ more.
Funny thing when you have no say in it...so it goes down here in the south I'm not used to it yet.

Marnin Seveen and everyone! Been busy here trying to get the work done before the heat sets in. 80's with 90% humidity is not fun for us north people. We're just not used to it!

We used to have a property tax credit from the lottery but they took that away years ago. There is no homestead here. However...our roads are in great shape which is more than I can say for Minnesota. I guess you get what you pay for! One thing for sure..if I lived on some of the roads up there I'd be paying the difference and then some in car repairs for what I would save in property taxes!

just a couple of pictures to share with you this morning.

last night Luna had her 2 kittens, and it was the most beautiful thing, Soleil her sister was right with her, licking her face and neck and giving her comfort while she was giving birth and then cleaning her sister's kitties once they were born. These 2 sisters really love each other.





I mentioned yesterday that I'm working on a painting, it has changed form a couple of times now, but I love working with color. Too bad in this picture you can't see the lavenders and purples and turquoise as well as the oranges and golds in the sun, but here's what it looks like at this stage of the game. It is about 4' x 2'.

Hopin all is well with the holics. Got some busy time comin up. off to Logan tomorrow to pick up my friend comin in from Hawai'i and depositing him in Truro wid im wifey.
She's been here since May.
Friday night I'll head back down for the weekend for her Mom's memorial service &amp; gathering. Home again on Sunday.
