Good Morning (((Jamaicaholics)))

Last year we were experiencing a drought in the ATL, this year it is a flood! Everything is okay on my end, couple of streets yesterday was blocked off due to the flooding.

Grandkids school was closed, son was sent home from work. It is pretty drastic here for some people right now, think I heard on the news that at least 7 people died.

When I left work last night the street lights were off, it was scary dark. I dont used the freeway to get home, only surface streets so I was okay.

Praying for people in Atlanta....

I finished the quilt for the Veggie Man and my daughter took it to him. He was overwhelmed and didn't say too much. He kept saying that we didn't have to do that for him, but we thought we did. He has brought countless boxes of fresh veggies to us throughout the season.

Our backyard flooded but went downhill fast. Unbelievable...the amount of rain we have had in the past 10 days. Creeks became rivers overnight......We're blessed not to have been in an area that flooded out. Some areas look like NO after Katrina
