One local beach me used to go to every Sunday in Falmouth. Dunno if it has a name.

Treasure Beach, I like the black sand...

Dead End, had some great parties there...and as mentioned,for plane spotting...

Peppa Alligator Pond and Little Ochi are in Manchester.

The rest of the beaches are along the road to Gut River and beyond towards Round Hill. They're very isolated and Jah know I not driving on that bad bad road again anytime soon! Mi was there in May and the scenery beautiful but the road bad cyaan done.

St. Bess start about a 5min walk West of Likkle Ochi.

Alligator Pond used to be in St Elizabeth, but dem change the boundaries and move it over to Manchester. Something to with Manchester not having a body of water inside the parrish.

I googled to see if I could find the date, but don't have time to really search good. Who knows or remembers?

Oh Jamaica Miss I sooo agree; spent all day there one day last weekend and it was so peaceful and the water was great. Wish I was there

Right you are Pepper when we did go a school a JA Alligator Pond was in St. Elizabeth but apan disya site we larn that it is now in Manchester. So, Manchester need body of water to? Dem is very cool up in the hills nobaddy no grudge dem fe dem cool climate and red dutt.

Alligator Pond was always at the border.
Parts of it is in both parishes.

Similar to how Negril is at the border of Westmorelnad and hanover.
So Guts River is not a river?

Or is it not in manchester?


And wouldn'r giuuts riverbe as big a the river at allogator pond?

My mother is from Manchester. She never saw the sea until she was almost 14 and then it was Alligator Pond. I never heard of Alligator Pond being in St. Bess.

growing up in santa cruz, st. elizabeth, our closest beach was in westmoreland - bluefields beach. can't think of that beach without thinking of hardo bread and corned beef sandwiches, traditional beach picnic fare back in the day.

bluefields is a sad story now ..there is no sand
