Back at the house

I have been in the hospital and a care center. life is bad when your bod gives out.

My liver took a hit( Not from booze) from an infection..... I almost bit the big one. 7 weeks of life have been lost..... I am just beginning to feel like having some fun.

To keep from going nuts I purchased another trip....... April 2ed,yes its a long way down the road but I needed to think I would be able to see the country again; my last trip was last April to Runaway bay and Mrs Chins place..

Sorry for the sad post but I hope I can make things brighter over the weeks to come.

Before I went in I got a Nana-day Conour (Parrot) she was nice and loud in the AM....women they always want things from me.

When I went in I had a women tend to the house, than the bird died......SHE said it just fell over. Hmmmmm? I spent good money for the bird, now I have this wonderful cage with no bird; what shall I do????

Git another bird Geo!! I had a co-worker who lost 3 conuors (sp?) when he was boiling water and overheated a teflon coated pot. The fumes are deadly to birds in closed spaces. (Canary in a coal mine kinda thing)

It's possible she killed it without knowing.

Welcome back to life and the forums George. I'm so sorry to hear about your bird. I had a beautiful Nanday Conure when I was into birds, they are so gorgeous!

Get another bird since you must already have the equipment!

Did it help to cover the bird at night to keep him quiet in the morning? Did you see we have a new pets forum? Come on over and let's talk birds! I used to have parakeets, cockatiels, and parrots.
