Sharing some Sad News

Hi everyone some sad news. In my last trip report (June 2009) I introduced j'com friends to one of my favorite relatives, Uncle Cecil. I'm sorry to say that he passed away on Sunday (November 29).

During my June 09 trip I took a video of him as he shared some local and family history with me. Friends and family both online and where I live all seem to enjoy his conversation. We've been joking that he's a star on the Internet.

I'm so glad I took that video to remember him and to share with his wife and children.

I am so sorry to hear that he passed I remember your trip report and so enjoyed your video with Uncle Cecil, priceless. Remember though that memories are priceless.

I just wanted to thank everyone in this thread for your kind thoughts. My mother was so moved that people so far and wide took the time share a prayer or comforting thought. She'll be taking a print out of this feedback and that from the trip report to give to Uncle Cecil's family when she attends the funeral in a few days.
