many many christmas' have been spent in jamaica

i love going at that time of year to get back to the basic simplicity of enjoying good food, seeing friends and a more honest celebration of the day

i have now included my son in this tradition which gives us family time away in a place we both love

for him there is no list of toys for santa to bring to him, no bragging about i got this or that

jamaica has helped him learn the gift of giving

That's nice that you teaching Abu about the true meaning of Christmas. It's become so commercialized and it's a money-making machine for all the retail businesses. It would be hard to do in the US, but a family trip to Yaad is more valuable than any toy under the Christmas tree.
