A new airline has begun offering services to Air Jamaica's Montego Bay, St. James hub from three United States gateways.
<span style="font-style: italic">The inaugural flight took off around 11am Thursday</span>, <span style="font-weight: bold">a few hours later than the scheduled departure, </span>with 86 passengers on board.
AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings Inc announced on Thursday the launch of its new non-stop services to Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica, from three US cities.
The new services to Montego Bay are from Hartsfield through the Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Orlando International Airport and in Baltimore, Washington via the Thurgood Marshall International Airport.
The carrier is operating daily flights from Atlanta and Baltimore/Washington to Montego Bay and four times weekly flights from Orlando.
