yeah that jamie guy is too cute - although his staff always seems so confused by his lack of directions

and every time i go to home depot i look for ahmed -
he can crash my yard anytime

heck any of those HGTV people can come to my house anytime - i need some fixing all around - and it's hard to find contractors that you trust - without a man around the house - worse than getting your car repaired

well the landscape guy came yesterday and drew a beautiful plan for my front yard using NO grass - they've been doing ecoscapes for 12 years

he suggests about 10 or more plants and ground cover - asian jasmine, coral honeysuckle, knock out roses, creeping rosemary, a winged elm tree, butterfly bush, muhlt grass and mulch

most are plants native to florida and can withstand my sunny front yard

i'm excited for him to get started - probably within the next 2 weeks or so

it sounds lovely and is almost maintenance free - i may need to do some edging and train the honeysuckle to grow on the trellis

anything will look better than the burnt out dirt bowl i have now

(In south India, you can buy garlands of it outside the temple to put in your hair..... )
