Idler`s Rest that I know is located in Billies Bay, just a little west of Calabash Bay in Treasure Beach on that same road to Parotee.
Former boardite, Accompong was a regular there.
It is more like a motel or villa with only a few rooms.

That one is Irie Rest, Q. Not to be confused with Ital Rest in Great Bay....

Looks very nice. Looking at the pics it could be along the beaches just east of Black River where there are a couple of guesthouses and then Cloggy's, or it could be at Parrotee. I'm thinking probably the latter because I just drove that road to and from TB a week ago and didn't notice it, Parottee would have required that I turn off the road i was on and I did not.

St Bess is right, Parotee is seaside when you travel over the bridge from Black River en route to Treasure Beach..when you can go no further and have to make the choice to turn left (To T.B), you veer off to the right instead towards the sea (which you can see over the bushes dem).

If you are on foot and planning to travel in and out of Black River from there, I would say it would be 30 minutes by foot, or just flag a route taxi on the main...Parotee is just off the main road (route between Black River and Treasure Beach) so there are a lot of taxis that travel both ways on this road.

Red handed. I was passing a truck that was going really slow, even moved to the left for me, and when I came around the front and started moving back into my lane, BAM - highway patrol motioning me to pull over.

My friend Genean in the car with me told me after someone was blinking their headlights at me but I was so focused on the truck I didn't see...plus it was evening anyhow.

There was a continuous white line where i passed. I was clear, no oncoming traffic, but i'm not used to the nice new lines on that north coast highway!!
