I did try a search on here with no luck. I arrive Sunday and want to have enough for the taxi to UWI. How much is it and is that the best way to get there? i will have few USD and Mexican pesos - ha!

To New Kingston is about US 25 so to UWI is prolly US 40
I would try to share a ride in a JUTA taxi to new Kgn or Hope Road or papine and tek another taxi from there if yu used to di transportation system .
