Runaway Bay to Negril via Mandeville?

Pooh and I will have both the time & patience to take a leisurely drive across the Island in a couple weeks....will these directions work?

Brownstown thru Alexandria thru Cave Valley to Spaldings....

what would be a nice way to get from Spaldings to Spur Tree?

then thru Santa Cruz, Lacovia, Middle Quarters...should we then go to Black River?

I can find my way from Black River.....

You will come out towards Christiana, then head to Mandeville from there, then on down to Spur Tree. I had the time of my life on that scooter ride, it was BEAUTIFUL! We went from the south coast to St. Anns Bay, and of course we stopped at Bob's.

I wonder if my old trip report from then is still around, I'll go see if I can find it. Otherwise I have a hard copy in the house I think.

There was a hotel in Spaldings that was a real hoot too!


I will go see if I can find my old story, it had all the town names on it, like Cave Valley and a whole lot of others. I have some pics on a disk too.

Go from Spauling to Christiana you can take the Mandeville bypass. When you reach Gutters do not go to Alpart. Go strait down the hill.
