while unno in the praying and positive vibes mood.....one of my co-workers ((Mike)) has been battling stomach cancer for little over a year.

2 weeks ago got the results of his PET scan and they could see nothing.

This a year after he had been diagnosed, went for surgery where they opened him up and sent him home..said there was nothing they could do for him.

Did intensive chemo and worked through the whole thing

Last Friday he went into the hospital in pain and swollen everywhere. Diagnosis today, new for of cancer on the lining of his insides. No treatment untill he is stronger, Dr is giving him 2 months and not wanting to proceed with any further Chemo or radiation.

He has an 11yo son....

I am also going to piggyback on this post and ask for your positive vibes for my stepdad older brother he has prostrate cancer. He is 54 and not coping very wel,l when I visited him I could tell he was scared, and also very stubborn!! not cooperating with what the medics says he should be doing. Still acting the big tough guy thing.

He has not been feeling well for sometime, but kept putting off going to the doctor men!!

On a brighter note, here's a couple of miracles you have all sent out prayers for...

That is my sister, 3 time cancer survivor & Ethan, the 3lb 1oz preemie, who USED to have a cleft pallette.
It has now been successfully closed and he is eating solid foods like a trooper and will soon be starting speech therapy, once he's a little older. He's walking like crazy, but so tiny, people look at him like He will be 2 November 15 even though he SHOULDN'T be 2 until January 30.
My sister has been cancer free fro about 3 years.

Oh, and Ethan's face is all smeared with Chocolate Ice Cream, cos that's what Aunties DO!

Prayers for you both sets of friends! That is great news QK....how is she doing now?

Awwww the boy is adorable! You can't tell he had a cleft palate...he looks great.

He does look little on that big bike.
