Reached Oct 2. Enjoying our home in Negril. Unusually muggy this year but still enjoying the weather since it was 38 degrees at home in Oregon this morning.Comment

What is so surprising is that my leg is getting better. Maybe it isn't really surprising because I have come home to recuperate before and it doesn't take long. TLC is the answer. Ted has been rubbing the affected parts of my leg with olive oil and by golly, it's working. Still am very careful getting up out of a chair and going down stairs. But getting rid of a good portion of the pain has sure changed my attitude. Whoopee!
Rumor is that the water system has now fixed the pump after five weeks of no water in the line. BUT, they will not turn it on until this weekend. Don't know their reasoning. Ted has bought water and costs $3000 for 2 tanks, and did this twice. Then yesterday got one tank's worth for $1500. That's a lot of dang expense. They are now working on the road in Whitehall Phase 2 and did on the side of our home. That means that we get a new water system and new electric hookup very soon. We have been piggy backing with others in the neighborhood.Comment
