Negril in July or August

Looking some info for a friend,

Has any one stayed at Jah B's in July or August? Was it uncomfortably hot?

What is the most reasonably priced accomadation with AC on the beach? What about across the road?

What about the cliffs? how about Samsara?

What would be your suggestion of best budget places on the beach? cross the road? on the cliff?

Jah B's looks most promising to me.But, I wondered how hot it would be in July and August. Also, I am not so sure if my it would be my friends cup of tea (she has only stayed at Negril Inn and Foot Prints back in the 90&quot;s.

She liked AI. But I'm trying to talk here out of packages so she can come down to TB too.

If she's stayed at Negril Inn and Footprints in the 90's and is otherwised accustomed to AI then she'll definately need AC!

This also means that it can't be a shoestring budget either.
JahBs and Roots might be a bit too much for her then.
I'd look into Bar-B-Barn, Rayon, Kuyaba or For Real.
They are all affordable and have AC.

I agree with Magix. If she stayed at hose nice places before, she will probably NOT like JahB or any of the budget spots. Better to go somewhere else, one of Magix suggestions sound good...than to go with the pocket book and be unhappy!

Her budget may be an issue. I was half thinking of trying to link up with her in Negril then head to TB. My budget is definately a shoe string or less!

Stayed at Jah B's but not in July or August... sorry can't say. Late September was rainy... but for sure can say it's a nice vibe there

Most reasonably priced accomadation with AC on the beach u asked? WHEN... time of year makes a big diff... off season $50 US / nite, peak season could be double.

Live on the cliffs for a while now and swear it's much cooler than the beach!

Samsara nice property, location... but don't stay on property all the time... get out and explore around Nice local vibes around the area.

I was going to try for June but my FREE dog sitter will be in England most of the dates I was looking at.
