it's gonna be a good feeling to turn that clock ahead and enjoy the evening sun time

here . . . the warm breezes of spring are about

and the canadian geese are heading north

still plenty of snow birds on i-95 with their salt slick cars traveling in to catch the early spring sun and fun in good ole florida

seveen is waiting to see if she's still the plant murderer but . . . so far it's looking good

i have 3 new roses bushes - added some verbena - planted just a little bit more rosemary - oh so fragrant - and asiatic jasmine gets plugged in until the ground cover covers - we planted 18 new sprigs this weekend - so far we added 24 new ones

phase 2 - comes next month - and then i'm good to go . . . just a bit of water and cut the lawn in the back

i thank jah for mr. queener coming over and giving me a million dollar lesson in gardening - now to see if i can carry those lessons out - lol

Lawd Seveen, I hate daylight savings time.

It should be light in the morning and dark at night. Soon as the sun starts rising at a decent hour, they go pushing time forward so it's still dark when l leave the house. All for what? So it can be light at 10:00 at night?

If I ever open my own business, I'm going to refuse to observe it.

Good morning holics! Oh Rootsie you got hammered! I was wishin...but quite frankly, I am done with Winter any time now. Congrats JMiss! 3 years is a long long wait. Hey Schultz, you are a short timer now! Or are you already gone?

It is shaping up to be a splendid week up here in the tundra.

If you haven't seen my thread in the Sports section lately, poor Newton suffered some mishaps in Iditarod and ended up having to withdraw. I am just hoping he is OK after the soaking he took in -25 below on Friday, and still had to continue for 3 to 4 hours after that to the next checkpoint. It took the people who were helping him 10 minutes just to thaw his boots so they could loosen the laces, meanwhile the pain and burning on his feet was bad, he said. He looked in good spirits in the video I saw of him, if it becomes public I will share the ink. His dogs then started to become sick, so he was forced out of the race.

morning ja'holics!

well I gained almost five pounds in three weeks of vacation I overdosed on oxtail and some other delights and the booze lawd my granmama make some wikid rum punch.

So!! I am getting off this weight......going flash now go do my workout @ 5:30 in the morning

Steady rain here since I been back but this is B.C. I am almost welcoming the rain it was starting to get hot down there 80deg. weather.

Anyway have a nice week all!! will be busy for sometime as I had only planned on spending 2 weeks and ended up spending 3 weeks so behind with everthing.

Oh sorry to hear about Newton.

I take off tomorrw! Stormey I hope to loose weight while I'm on vacation.....I need to walk, swim, ride bike and take yoga, and eat mi veggies. I'm fatter than I've ever been in my life. I feel miserable.
