The house is 1,500 feet from the lake,up on a hill and a great view... so yay, no lake frontage to pay taxes on. Been there done that when I had 200 feet of frontage in northern Mn. Pure headache business.

I am looking forward to seeing the house, but want to wait till a week day and see the neighborhood for what it is usually like. Yeah, it will be a very sad day when I lose my Rose. I have put out feelers for a next rescue Doberman...but who knows, Paris seems to realize Rose is not too well, and has been acting a bit more assertive...

Hey Laurel, do check the pow wow if you get a chance, it looks like a great one! You will hear drumming and jingle dresses in your head for long time after.



It is going to be a lovely cool day today with a high of 70. Thank you to the weather gods. I have glass to melt and the heat and humidity is not conducive to that practice!
