Even to Skype a Jamaican land line or cell phone seems to be more expensive than most other countries.

turn the phone off BEFORE you get there - because as soon as you land - digicel will find your phone - whether you are making a call or not

also forward your phone to your home number

one trip - i just turned my phone off but people were calling and leaving voice messages - i got charged $2.00 for each voice message

by forwarding your phone - any calls do not use the digicel towers - thus no charges

i found this out the hard way

Is there a service charge or an international fee to use ezetop.com? I usually go to the Jamaica National office here in Lauderdale. But if I can do it online, that would definately be better.

i use it even when i'm there

those small numbers on the back of the phone card are too small and many for my eyes . . .
