Looking for a guest cottage in Negril

Hi,

Long long time ago I stayed in a guest cottage in Negril. Anybody know the lady (Miss Nancy???) in the pic or know her property? I'm thinking about returning this spring.

similar yes but i don't think is JahB's, their cottages have different roofs from the one in the pic.

also, Miss Nancy is not the proprietor there..... for at least the past 10 years it has been JahB himself, along with Miss Joyce; previously, it was Miss Dennise

although - if the photo is maybe 20 or more years old, it might could be what is now JahB's; perhaps if it was owned by someone else and/or called something different in the past and the cottages may have been refurbished since then .... it would be helpful to know the exact age of the picture

The place is not Jah B's
I was at Miss Nancy's September 2001
So it was 10 years ago.
This place was not on the shoreline side but across the road.
It was directly opposite of some large hotel I can't remember the name of.
Maybe 30-40 rooms in the place.
The name of the hotel was like SeaScape or something.
And I would walk down to "cool runnings" or "the cool spot" bar on the same side of the road.

EDIT:

I just googled seascape negril and those pics seem what I remember. I'd have to walk through their parking lot to get to the beach.
But I remember their old website being a bit more "upscale" than the one I'm seeing now.
Like the old seascape was a borderline posh place.

i looked at the map again and it's not seaSCAPE but maybe seaSPLASH I was across the road from.
seaSCAPE is not on the shoreline side of the road but seaSPLASH is

nah,
stoney gate doesn't seem to be it
i'm not looking for just ANY cottage but specifically miss Nancy's
why? you might ask.
she treated me like i was her grandson.
just really warm and welcoming.
really nice lady.
her cottage was pretty bare.
kinda like a camping hut.
real simple and basic but it was cool
i read a book a day while i was there
just chilllllllled out and relaxed.
i was hoping to find her specific spot again but if i don't then i'll just show up and find whatever has space avail and not too pricey.
i remember when i was there, they were building the RIU down the road
and they had just finished that highway from mobay to negril
looking at the googlemap now shows negril has changed A LOT!

that is (should be) the same map - i know it was recently updated and i think they may have moved it to a spot where it is always updated

i hope you find miss nancy - let us know - that area by RUI is prime property for the all-inclusives - miss nancy may be rich :-)

also - you will have to put a name of a hotel on your immigration form to get into jamaica - so put a few names in your head before you go

same as last time and any other caribbean island.
if i dont have rezzys i just think of a popular hotel on island (ritz carlton if i'm coming through mobay or strawberry hill if KIN) and put that down

one year i toured the east (porty, st thomas, etc) for two weeks and stayed in ital village, zion country and a slew of other non-name places out that way.
