Re: The building of the Falmouth Cruise Ship Pier
There are articles out there about it already. All the same people who were pestering the tourist in Ochii have pulled up stakes (they are surprisingly mobile DUHHHH Royal Caribbean), and are now harrassing the folks in a new location Somehow people have felt this would contribute to the economy of Falmouth, but I don't tend to agree so much. AND when I was last in Ochii, they are still hauling the people right back over there to partake in the attractions, they just have further to drive and less time to enjoy themselves before the ship has to leave, so all of this has accompished what?????

Yep, Marilyn, tis true, they are hauling folks right back over there. I joined in a roll call post on CC for a cruise where Falmouth was one of the ports. The discussion of excursions all seemed to point back to Dunns River. I looked around the site for reviews from folks that previously took the same cruise (the cruise line hadn't listed the excursions for Falmouth yet) and most excursions pointed back to Ochi. The options seemed a bit limited for travellers relying on excursions provided by the Cruise line.

Re: The building of the Falmouth Cruise Ship Pier
Kind of off topic, but how is the new "N-resort"(old FDR Pebbles) working out in Falmouth, or should I say Oyster Bay? I understand it is Jamaican owned and operated? How do residents feel about an nudist facility in the area? I believe this is the first all nude only resort in Jamaica?
