My friend and I are outdoor enthusiasts. Every couple of years we choose a place to live and meditate away from society for about 6 weeks. Next summer we were looking at Jamaica for our next destination spot and I was hoping to find some good input here. Where are some good COMPLETELY isolated areas to look at in Jamaica?

Its not safe to camp in a completely isolated area in Jamaica ..but there are places in the mountains that are fairly isolated ..

i wanted to tell the person that too but didnt want to start a riot...maybe they can stay at the really rustic back to nature type places that have recently opened up...Comment

You can camp out high in the Blue Mountains, it will be so isolated that it will be safe. Very easy to get lost for days there so bring a GPS. Also it's a national park so you will either need a permit or don't get caught.
Another place comes to mind is Cockpit Country but I don't think that would be as safe.Comment

A friend in Strawberry Fields, St. Mary, offers camping. Fairly remote area but there are people around, not sure how remote you want to be.Comment
