so I was surfing channels and came across this weekly travel tv series shown on local stations

featured ocho rios in this video and the utube channel has montego bay as well

FDR needs some serious updating. The amenities shown were shameful, and I would figure they showed their best rooms for the video.

I have never been to FDR, and from this video, its off my list.

ok I thought it was only me that noticed the stove from 1975 and the floral fabric

I had heard so many good things about the place, specifically that it is good for families, and usually top rated. this is definitely not what comes to mind when I think of a &quot;<span style="font-style: italic">boutique hotel</span>&quot;.

I heard the same good things. Everyone who has stayed there said they had a wonderful time. Maybe the staff and food are good, but that hotel is pricey. I expect better amenities when spending the kind of prices they charge.

the main ammenity is child care

each family gets a personal nanny

so for me that means too much pee in the pool - ewww

yes the room looks quite dated but as others mentioned I did hear good things about the place..

yes they have an excellent childcare/kidzone center, which is why I was interested in the resort in the first place. I will wait until after they renovate.

seems weird, cuz breezes and sandals here always up-grading, in fact, sandals royal bahamian, just spent couple millions upgrading the property same thing with breezes. Sandals Emerald Bay in Exuma was upgraded when they purchased it, and that was a newly built place too.
