Well, moved into my SIL's place. Don't have my own yet...need a job first....my stuff arrived from the States though and it was cheaper to ship here via air mind you than it was for me to move from Sacramento CA to LA CA.

It's been quite an experience....I am surprised at how really American I am or so everyone tells me. Everything is done differently here and I continually embarrass my SIL with my get it done now attitude. Everything here is done methodically and ANALLY I might add. Paperwork and more paperwork. It's been nice with all the snow here though and I have met some very nice people from Somalia...I somehow seem to feel more comfortable with the other immigrants than Swedes even though I am a Swede. It's strange...even though this is my country...I feel completely estranged and like I'm in a foreign country....and everyone keeps asking me how come I speak Swedish or where did I learn to speak Swedish because they assume I'm an american with my accent and all. (Good thing I know how to cuss in several languages...that has been quite useful dealing with the bureacracy here.) I should probably write something in the non ja reports...lol.....who knows.....the nights here are endless so I might just do that....The Ja addiction is worse than ever...checking flights into New York and Miami and then connecting to Ja.....Wanted to go to Thailand but too many Swedes there already....don't want to go where another bunch of Swedes have taken over...some places are like little Sweden....(sad to me but true) Want to go to Paris for a weekend and will definitely check out the Uppsala reggae fest this summer unless I am in Ja....lol.
