Ted took what he calls a "bobsled ride" on a ladder yesterday. He was staining some wood high on the ceiling, the ladder slipped on the tile floor and he was off and running. He said the ride was nice, but stopping wasn't so hot. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/feelsick.gif[/img] He is now resting in bed today, taking 800 mg ibuprofin, and finally succumbing to my TLC. I left him taking a nap to check in here. His foot is very swollen. Dolley, his friend made a concoction of soursop leaves and vinegar to put on it and wrapped it with a rag. He did try ice for awhile. Walks with a cane when he needs to be up, but cannot put any pressure on the hurt foot.

Good thing he has you for the TLC. Do you have access to an ace bandage or any kind of wraps? Poor baby. Hope it isn't broke hurt.

Thanks all. I will tell him whenI return home soon. Hope he is napping while I'm at the internet cafe. And DD, it's OK to laugh about the bobsled. We all had a good laugh about what he called it.Comment

Thanks everyone for your comments and concerns. I tried to get him to the doctor but he says he's okay even though he cannot put pressure on it. I will put up with his Jamaican stubborness for just a couple more days, then I will start in on him about the doc if it shows no sign of healing better.Comment
