O, this is remarkable. We all love this island so much and I often wonder if I will love Africa as much. I assume that I will, but one cannot be sure until they reach a place and settle in for a bit.

I'll admit that I fell in love with a wonderful man of Jamaica and as I returned time and time again, I quicly fell in love with the island. I know that for me it is a combination of many things that makes my heart yearn for this place the moment I step on the airplane to return.

1. That no matter where I am on the island, I can be in the ocean in less than 20 mintues.
2. Everyone looks like me.
3. Most people seem to embrace my particular vibe...not look, not body, but vibe, and as a result, I seem to be treated as a trustworthy person and I trust as well.
4. I'm on vacation in mind, body and soul, because I see me where ever I go...I am no longer in the minority...I don't have to be concerened if some establishment will wait on me last because of the color of my skin, that every store on the island will have hair products especially for me, that every place on the island will have stockings just for me, if I go on the street and raise my hand, many cars will stop for me and smile when I get in, I amclose to nature and how God intended for me to live, closer to the soil, closer to the sea, closer to my inner self....

Sometimes we don't need to put a label on the great things in life. Sometimes that are what thay are. Jamaica makes us feel whole....that's it...I feel whole and at peace....it is what it is....plain and simple... How blessed are we...

Yes, there is something that we each get from JA that brings us back to her time after time.

After several visits you feel like "This all started from one visit"...The fact is She allows us to be us.

Whether you wish to go dancing and leave your inhibitions behind...

Whether you just need a change of scenery...

Whether you need a mental detox...

Whether you just go because you want more from her...

Heck, sometimes you want that feeling of relief you get when her coastline comes into view. You say to yourself "I am home" because that's how you feel.

And if life just seemed to be bogging you down before your reach, you are finally able to shed a tear and feel better!!!
