Hi Honey's I'm home! Glad to see you all are enjoying yourself this afternoon! I went to the post office and I VOTED and then I decided I might as well go to the bead store since I had the car warmed up!

Hey HemGee, great to see you! Yes, I am still not able to talk about losing the love of my life. Bucko had a stroke in late August and although he was showing signs of improvement he never would have made it through winter so I had to say goodbye and it still sucks and stings as bad as it did that day. I doubt I will ever get over it.

He had just had his 30th birthday..

I had this dream once. Actually I have only been able to dream of Bucko 3 times and I pray to God and beg him for more all the time. I dreamed we were running in a field and I was riding my favorite way...bareback and barefoot. There was no bridle no halter, no nothing Just me sitting on his back with the breeze blowing as we ran across a filed of flowers and it was so beautiful.

I haven't been able to go outside much since Bucko left. He is in a spot in my yard and that spot will turn into a beautiful garden next summer with a weeping birch for a focal point. Why a weeping birch? HA..loops knows that story. I bought a weeping birch about 10 years ago and named it Ralph. During one of Bucko's Houdini days he walked over to Ralph and ate him down to a stub not long after I planted him.

Ralph grew and grew and turned into a beautiful crown birch tree of some sort but Ralph is not a weeping birch. The Weeping part was a graft. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70361-embarassed.gif[/img]

Anyway, I will get my weeping birch now and it is going right on top of Bucko and when I told my friend val that she laughed so hard I thought she was gonna fall off her chair. And I will see Bucko again someday and have that ride in the field of flowers. Oh gosh and behind us will be a trail of critters a mile long I think!

26 years of having him by my side ain't gonna be easy to let go.
