If you were going to advise some one (yardie living in US / from another part of Jamaica) where to stay on the cheap in St Ann's (they want to bring kids to see some sights like Dunn's River, Green Grotto Caves and perhaps Glistening Water (is that closer to St. James?)

I remember Ms. Gibbs aka Stohli posting about a place called "The Comfort Zone" in Runaway Bay. Any one have info / i googled them and came up empty.
Any one every stay at Salem Resort? I remember seeing the place when I was in the area but I never went inside.
Where is Libby?? She would know what is what in that area.

Re: Ms. M & Ochie peeps
Pipers might work then....the room we had last time had a queen bed in the bedroom and a single bed in the living room...full kitchen (but only a dorm style refrigerator) if that's important...swimming pool, small beach...plenty of places to buy meals within walking distance...
I'm actually going to post some pics of the room and property in my trip report tonite....

I stayed at Crane Ridge in either 2000 or 2001. I thought that it was decent and there was parking for a rental car. But, I saw a thread in last year or so from a poster who was extremely unhappy with the place. When did you last stay there?

Re: Ms. M & Ochie peeps
Weve stayed a couple times. The last time was in 05.
You will see good and bad with any property. It all depends on the attitude of the poster. We found it to be fine. BUT we dont usually take the 1st room offered. The resturant is the only thing I found subpar. The menu was very limited.
Sandcastles is also a great property but a little pricier.
