A good friend of mine found me a source for coco mania rum at a reasonable price. I ordered 2 bottles as a test run. If that works out I am going to have a very good summer!! I am also amazed to have found Appleton here...........
An off-licence (liquor store) right in the middle of town off Dam square behind the royal palace where you can buy it [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img]

and also incredible, went to shelter out of the rain while cycling in town one evening (10 mins from my house....)
and stopped off at a little bar that a friend used to work in and now has changed owners............hadn't been in for years......

the new owner has stocked lots of exotic rums like Brugal from Dominican Republic, etc.

We can get Appleton just about anywhere. I've even seen Wray & Nephew Overproof Rum in a few places. So it surprises me when liquor store managers who sell the Overproof say they can't get the CocoMania. Same Manufacturer... [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70402-thinking.gif[/img]
I think it once people try it they're gonna say:

We're kinda behind the rest of the world in the liquor sales department. Only in the last couple of years can you purchase liquor on Sundays and even that's limited to shortened hours.

Marielle, Massachusetts is one of the original 13 colonies. Very Puritan roots. We still have what they call "blue book" laws which are not officially modern laws, but still observed.

When I was growing up, the only things you could do on sunday was have dinner or drinks out, (after 12 noon) go to sporting event or get a prescription and then it was only until 1pm then the pharmacy closed.

S l l o o o w w w l y y we're moving along. We even have 24 hour markets.
