The Rose Hall is a fablulous hotel. I can't say enough good things about that place. I enjoyed everything about my stay there. They have remodeled and the new touches make the hotel even more wonderful.

NOW, the Grand Palladium...they bill themselves as a 5 star resort. I'll list some issues off the top of my head:

The mattress was low quality, very tough. (not firm, tough)
The sheets were maybe 200 thread.
The hot water heater was set at probably the lowest temp used to classify it as hot water
I had 2 cold showers
The shower stall did not have a soap dish or towel rack, I had to put my toiletries on the floor of the shower.
The shower door was not sealed, stepping out of the shower, there was lovely puddle waiting for me.
There was a ceiling fan in the room, but no wall controls for said fan
Brand new buildings, no elevator. So if you cannot walk stairs, you must stay on the first floor.
No in-room radio
Plastic patio furniture
The food was not even the usual mediocre hotel food, it was just plain bad.

Those are a few things I can think of right now.

Remember, this is a 5 star resort, a hotel of the highest luxury.
