My Dear Orbra,
I hardly ever check this board anymore but I'm glad I decided to have a look see today.

You trip report was wonderful and I loved reading every word, no pictures are required from you...Lol

I've met JaMiss and Ted briefly at Selinas in the past and never had much time to talk to them much, but they are sure are some kind hearts for sure.

In case you didn't know, we are going for NYE also..
We booked a ticket with AMX points last Jan and just booked a room in Negril too.
We are staying at the "For Real" with the crew...Lol...we finally get to meet the The Divine Miss M, Angie and Seveen,Diamond Dave and Pooh as well as few others too. Yippee..!

(Angie, I look forward to meeting your grandchild as well. )

This is going to be the best NYE in years for Betty and I and we can't wait.We arrive Dec 27th - Jan 2
It's a short trip but it's all the time I could get off from work

I hope the crew get's some time in to just chill and chat , see ya soon.

Stan and Betty I am so excited to see you guys again. This will also be my best NYE ever, cause can we say RETIREMENT PARTY.

Man I wish we were retiring, but our small investment funds are going down the tubes like many in these tuff times.

Obra, wonderful to hear that your trip was what the doctor ordered, a space to 'feel' yourself again and in the company of one of my best friends, Cher. She is a wonderful friend and a kind loving woman, not so easy to find. Her place has come together so nicely. Funny thing, I used to live just on the opposite side of her road when I first moved to Ja, long before she moved to Duncans Bay, we always said how great it would have been if we were both living there at the same time. Couldn't have asked for a nicer neighbor. So glad your spirit felt contentment, without that, what's it all for. Nada. I should be here in Negril when you come back down, possibly we can meet back in Duncans Bay, Cher would love that. Peace.

I know it's been awhile since we've spoken, and Lord knows I haven't checked in at this site for months, but something directed me here today and I believe it was Him. What a wonderful storyteller you are ~ everyone can feel the love in your heart for your Beloved Jamaica ... you make it come alive! I'm glad that you have decided to retire soon; no one deserves a peaceful and prayerful retirement more than you my friend.

We have to plan some time together at JAmaican Jewel when we return, next year, I look forward to it. I would love to explore Duncan's Bay with you two guys, I hope I can convince Jamaica Miss to come with me, that will be much fun.

Hello Obra,

Jamaica is the best place to allow you to enjoy
who you are and not what other people want you to be.

People will recognise you for your warm heart
and the good vibes that you give off.

A time for reflection and spiritual awakening
comes to each of us in different ways
and at separate times in our lives.

People come into your life
for a reason, a season or a lifetime

When you know which one it is,
you will know what to do for that person.

There are many sentences in this report that are outstanding.

Photographs would have taken away from reading
the sincerity that each of your words conveys to me.
You are explaining and writing them from your heart.

This is impossible to capture as an image.
