<span style="font-size: 11pt">Bossa says he has to go to Falmouth and pick up his friends and his new wife and take them somewhere, he askes if I would like to ride along. Sure.
I need to take a trip to the ATM anyway, and I feel like being out, in Jamaica.

We walk back to JaJewel's and I let her know I am leaving with Bossa and I'll soon be back. She askes if I am hungry and remarks on how little I have eaten. I tell her I am craving a patty and will look some food when I am in town.

We head out, and both Bossa and I are grinning from ear to ear

We get to the place his friend is staying and they are not quite ready. No problem we are given a drink and I take the opportunity to take some pictures...

These are his friends that were just married the day before. You could feel the relaxed loving vibe between them, very nice.

We head straight for the ATM and I get some cash and then snap these pictures while they used the ATM machine...

Our money business handled and back in the car my belly is grumbling. We are looking for Pattys but it's Sunday evening and that is not going to happen.

Bossa stops at this road side restaurant and I ordered Jerk Chicken and Festival
They tried to hand me a fork at one point, but I did not take it

No pictures of that meal, sorry

I did photo the pit where they cooked the masterpiece once my belly was full

<span style="font-size: 11pt">The couple decides to come back to Jamaica Jewel with us and soon we are rolling down that now familiar road to the house. The music is going, and the vibe is nice. BarryG is in a good mood, and that always makes for an entertaining evening. Cher makes some of her homemade rum cream and I am in heaven

I step out into the shadows of the garden and see the pennywally's flying everywhere where I come from we don't have fire flys. I did not see my first one until I was 19 and in Ohio. I don't know why the little things make me smile, but they do

It is getting late, and I am ready for bed. We discuss going to Nine Mile tomorrow and we are all excited to go. I head off to sleep with a little piece of excitement in the pit of my belly...

<span style="font-size: 11pt">The next morning I wake up <span style="font-style: italic">early</span>. I've got no clock, but I can tell the sun is just kissing the sky outside. I roll over onto my back and smile the biggest smile.

I have waited many years for this day. I have postponed it, and I have dreamed about it, and it is finally here.

Today I get to pay my respect to a man who's message rings in the core of who I am.

I know some of you have your things to say about Bob Marley, but to me he is one of the greatest men who ever lived. I have sat back and dreamed while reading the trip reports from Dave, and now I am here, and in a few hours I will be in a car on my way to St.Ann and Bob Marley's resting place...

Good Morning Jamaica

I talk to my Mom a little, she knows the happiness I am feeing right now.

Then I take the radio into the bathroom and take a long hot shower...

That done, I take my time getting dressed and then go into the main house for some coffee

BarryG and Cher are up and smiling and the dogs tails are wagging to see me

I have some fruit for breakfast (pineapple and papaya) and Bossa gets there right on time to drive us. We all pile in the car, first stop Duncans for some money and things. The Bakery is open and I finally get a Patty We get some drinks and wait a while for Barry to handle some business and we are off

This feels more like 4 friends on a journey than any kind if hired tour, and I am loving it!!

So as we are cruising through the country and almost to Clarkstown we come across a police check point

I knew for certain I was in good hands when the officer stuck his head in, greeted Bossa by name and motioned us through
