We had been talking about this for quite a while "show me Negril like you did Ochii."
That was the request of my girfriend Miss E
She's a Montego Bay girl, but when I took her, she wore Ochii OUT, shut down every club, we were the last people standing every night. I wasn't too sure about her and Negril from the start, she's a party girl, and NEgril does NOT know how to party. So I went into this with doubts.
The plan was to meet up with BJ from Negril.com on the same plane and fly over. Ok that worked out just fine, and the 3 of us were off to Jamaica.
Bj had arranged for the ride from the airport and it was most pleasant. The traffic coming out of Mobay even cooperated, and other than a stop by the river bar for a Red Stripe, we got there in good time.
She liked For Real, she liked the ocean, kind of, she didn't like the seaweed, and for some reason, it wasn't as clear as it usually is.
Our first evening we went to Rics for sunset....what sunset??? It rained the entire time we were at Rics, and they didn't have the A list divers working that evening AND the band didn't play. The only thing I was happy with was my shrimp I always get, and they were the BOMB as usual.

Not having had the best Ric's experience, I decided to take her to canoe for drinks.
"Why are we stopping at this little shack?"
Ok now I still think she is going to like it, but one good thing came out of it. Once before I had been there and the cook made fried shrimp for me even though they were not on the menu, and he made this homemade cocktail sauce that blew everyone away. He promised to make me some to take home, but I never made it back there that trip. This night, he made me enough to fill up and entire empty Motts Apple juice container. I now have enough srimp cocktail sauce to last a long long time.
Ok so she drank a couple of drinks, and we go home vowing to go out that night to Bourbon Beach, all that happened was lots of snores.
