I told the next person to watch their step, the last step is slippery. We all got the same memo, but there’s always one in the group
Gerr reaches for the railing and I saw the ambition when she lifted her foot..oh she’s going for the rock

Behind me, Tia was running from a cat, she hates cats Everyone was focused on making sire Tia didn’t have an interaction with the cat, but I was still looking at Gerr cause I saw her stretching to put her foot on a rock that wasn’t THAT close

OHHHHHHH was the sound we heard, everyone turns around as we witness Gerr slowly slip on the step, land in the water, and since she couldn’t break her fall, just laid there on the rock

We were all bugged eyed in astonishment and a few of us were about to bust a gut holding in the laughter One person gave the okay for us to laugh, I picked up Gerr’s travel pouch and poured all the water out of it just in time to spare her passport and credit cards.

And although I am not in possession of the picture, Tia somehow snapped a picture of Gerr's fall all while dodging the cat.

When Gerr got up she looked at us laughing and said “ When we get home, My husband’s going to spank all of yall” (that was the clean version LOL)

One injury didn’t stop the tour but it did cut it shorter than we intended. One of the patrons at the gardens was more than happy to tend to Gerr’s scraped knee. Oh she was in heaven with the tender care and attention she was getting.

We stop for a few pictures of our ship and continue on to the shopping area where a few sarongs tshirts and purses were purchased.

While walking back to the bus, Gerr asks, why didn’t we see more of the falls...HELLO...you had enuff falls for the day LOL

When the driver took us to the shopping area, I was amazed that I never knew that little area existed. I often saw the ship in port but couldn’t figure out where the people got off at. I always wondered where the cruise pier was and where the duty free square was, and now I know where I will <span style="font-weight: bold">never</span> go to shop for alcohol, but I wasn’t getting on a plane so I forked over the inflated dollars for a bottle of Appleton 12 year.

We had a great day but it only made me want for more. I hadn’t been to Jamaica since February 09 and I was missing Negril so bad. I had made mental plans of returning in February but didn’t have a ticket or hotel yet. 3 weeks after returning from my cruise I put my thoughts into action and booked my 8 day vacay!

14 more sleeps and I can’t wait...actually looking forward to getting bit by mosquitos

nice pictures - i was transported to my ochie trip

some of the pictures looked like they were taken from my apartment at skycastles - the beautiful K-4

makes me remember why i don't cruise - too short a time in port - too much money spent
