gosh .... time was flying past .... Mr. made arrangements for Fire to come for one car load early in the morning to carry us up to the country.

He had to remain back to care for the goats and mess with the yard a bit. We had some guests that had arrived in Negril that day and he was to check on them at their hotel. We would carry Kim to school and Marion could spend the day with her family, and I could hang with Aunty Peggy, Shelly and her new baby boy Ante ...

Fire came for us and loaded up the car with all we would carry at that time, Kim's cake, the puddings, etc.

Glorious drive thru the countryside so early in the day ... cool up in the country before the full on sun came in.

as we approach into the deep valley where their home is near Dias ... the music is playing and Ante comes out to greet his Papa ... Bwoy LOVES his daddy!!

Good Morning to Aaleijha ... this child is growing up to be such a lovely joy filled young lady ... I just love her to bits!!!



our big yard dog takes his position pon our door step when we are not around ... or settled in for the night ~

a new puppy up round Aunty Peggy's yard has taken that same position ... on their front step ... he was so cute!!

when Mr. saw it - he burst out laughing!!! he said TracyAnne - Aaleija's mother grew up standing like this ... and still does. TracyAnne's sister Marion stands like this ... some family trait!!

I met a new Boardie during my stay ... he asked me if I would be doing a report ... I said ~ well ... a 'report' of sorts ...

not much of real interest went on for me ... household shopping, cooking, and playing with baby goats ...

a rather sad story ... late last Fall - he had the opportunity to add a new goat to his herd of ONE ~

he has had goat One for quit some time ... the two of them are Pals for real!!





he is a real beauty .... high stinkin rank ... but still a beauty ~

so - he gets a female - highly sought after - a good breed ~ goat One takes 'notice' .... not sure he had his way with the new Miss ~ or if it might have been some other ram ... but - she gets a full belly, and gives birth to a nice couple of baby goats, one male &amp; one female.

Mr. is thrilled.

well - not even 3 days pass, he is doing his evening care of his little herd ... each in their place.

he notices a group of guys (not from our neighborhood) watching his movements ...

next morning ... he reaches his goats to find two orphans ... mother gone ~ vanished.

he is devestated .... now what ?

oh man ... so - he does his bestest to do what he can to help these new babies survive ~

one makes it ... one gave up ~

so - he is down to just goat One and a baby with no mamma ...

you should see this motherless baby goat follow him around ... it will come calling out to him for milk / water / loving care ...

*sigh*
