I am sitting out on the verandah ... my head nodding of fi sleep ~ it was an early call to touch the road toward the country that morning and getting Dawta to school ...

all the sudden there is a deep voice behind me ....

"I was just dreaming you the other night" ...

Uncle Selassie ~ come in from the deep bush ...

I tell ya ~ even he can run the lyrics to make a girl feel special ...

he is loving up the little boys as well ...





he reaches into his pocket and brings out this prize ...

asks me if I enjoy Mango ...

umm ~ YES!!!




OMG ... I guarded that mango ... I hide it in my bag to carry home with me ~ planned to savor it the next morning ...

Mr. found it in the kitchen ... ask me where did I get this??

Uncle Dred gifted it to me yesterday afternoon ...

he said ~ wow ~ you are special ... he has not even seen one mango yet this year ... that was THE FIRST ~

I could only share it with him ~

we did enjoy that mango ~

It was awesome ..

they were so thrilled with my visit ... cuz I brought rain ...

they have been crying for rain - it was a nice soaking rain ...
a passerby sought shelter on their verandah -

when the rain passed ... off he went -



Shaquile got busy with a floor tidy up -



Shelly was busy in the kitchen doing what she does ... she is a great cook -

Yes beautiful dish, mi can taste the freshness in the cabbage and carrots and I am not even there.

Love the report so far brings back so much memories, Fried chicken taste better from the rustic kitchens.
