Don't you love it Ja.com Daycare/elementary school, folks are still calling Pm ing whatever ...girl she called your name, which is not REALLY your name cause it is an internet name and folks are still all bent out of shape about it... but one thing for sure, MY name IS my name.....nothing to hide behind.

So back to the report....

There was one place I was really curious about, and that is the new construction on a peak of land jutting out into the sea. I asked my driver about it last week, and he said it is going to be called Secrets.

Now I know this friend of Tommie's has a place called Secrets in Jersey. He loved Jamaica so much that he reacreated a Jamaican style resort there. I don't think this Secrets is related to his company though.

I looked it up on the net, and if this place is going to live up to the ones shown on the net, it is going to be bad news for resorts in Ochii and Negril.


Now it's a bit pricey, but sometimes folks like that, and they will reason that the diff in travel time makes up for the price. It's real upscale and Spaey (make up a new word here), but it is going to be new and modern, and my take on most places in Mobay is they are a bit dated. Don't know what the beach can be like, but given the location, I don't see how it can miss.

The thing is it will be right there in Monetgo Bay, the newest and the best, so why travel all over the island to get what you want when it is right there. So I priced one night and that was almost 600.00

Oh well, won't be staying there...but you can look for this one to cause quite a stir when it goes to full opening.

Bottom line,,, I really really have tried to catch a vibe in you and Miss E's place, but I can't seem to. Shame too because it is an easy in and out of Jamaica.

There just doesn't seem to be enough local flavor for you to even feel like you are in Jamaica. I was really surprised to even see some grills out last night. I got to watch around oh 5:30 AM as they went quietly home in the wee hours of the morning.

It's a whole different feel, Montego Bay. When was the last time you really spent any time there??

I don't know, I would really love to love it as when you arrive you are there, no travel and extra expense necessary...but I just don't get it.

Oh I did tell Mr. T on the way to the airport that he had a homework assignment. I called it TEN THINGS TO LOVE ABOUT MONTEGO BAY. I told him that when I come back I want him to have 7 more, as I can say I love the beach, my hotel, and Margarettes....so he has to find 7 more things for me to love about the Monetgo Bay area. Dave and Pooh, that is one lovely lovely person, thanks for sharing him with me.

I loved reading this report,Marilyn always does what my soul WANTS to do
Hoping one day to be free enough where I can just get up in the morning and do what I please!
I do not understand what the arguement was about,sounds silly to me,a lady surviving cancer waking up and grabbing life by both hands and going somewhere she loves a often as she can and doing that as a strong independent woman deserves a big clap to me not a mouthful.
Hope you have a million ore happy exciting trips marilyn,Maybe one day wewill see each other out there and I wll be sat at that empty chair listening to your stories and laughing with a nice jug of something or other!

he's a good, honest, decent man who remains one of my closest friends in Jamiaca....
