I think this is a jackfruit because breadfruit grow up in the tree out on branches and not next to the trunk. And the bumps are too small..

thanks johnnycakes - i did eat some jackfruit this trip - i think it was my first time having it - loved the taste - kinda messy to do what you have to do to get to the fruit

your lovely jamaica home is often in my dreams - i think about the papaya, the lime tree just out the window and the best neighbor and neighbors a person could have

i hope you get to go &quot;home&quot; soon and enjoy the land you loved so much - your spot is heaven

some gorgeous living up there

Thanks for the kind words Seveen .
I may not get back there for a while but I did finally pay my land taxes via the internet just two days ago so I know the house will be mine and not the GOJ's when I do get home again.

Check out all these jackfruit. I wish I had one of those trees.

ding ding ding - you win the prize

i had a lovely christmas/nye holiday in jamaica albeit it breezy

thought i needed a bit more &quot;report&quot;

so . . . wrote up this thing about prince - from when i was younger and fancy free

one holiday turned into 20 years of caring . . . with respect to existing situations

this trip was the best - being on the beach and meeting all the facebook friends i hadn't met - at one point there was a pile of us - chatting away like we all knew each other forever - i wished we had taped it - some good chat - intimate, upfront and uplifting - i know it sounds corny - but you connect to folks for some reason - and our meeting just reinforced that - one of the best times ever

Only a few pages in and it is really juicy ;Well done he paid for YOU to get into margaritiville but then I BOAL when he asked for his money back because people were dancing LOL
And then you miss the boat trip duck out-Whoopsie I wonder why that happened
This is the best trip report ever!
So then you jump into some random mans car with 2 other guys!
