A few Pictures from our March Trip

I mentioned up in Jamaicaholics that we took my mother home in March for a 2nd service and internment in our family plot. Here are just a few pictures from this bittersweet trip to the village where she was born, not far from Brown's Town (St. Ann).

That &quot;She is home&quot; feeling was so strong once we returned from the church. Let met tell you - looking at the experience (at the time) from that perspective saved me from altogether losing it. Even now, I feel less desolate about the absence of my vibrant mother from my life, because she is at home and resting with other family members who have gone before her - especially dear sister.
