Thanks ROOTS....thanks Nyla,and yes, the house used to be known as "the church house".....everything outside AND inside was white. I almost dismissed it before I looked at it because it had only one bedroom, but when I saw the size of the lot & the trees already planted, I decided to take a look. When I went inside & saw how high the vaulted ceilings were, my mind thought "loft" immediately!....so, we raised the roof in the back & put in a bedroom loft...then proceeded to add the addition of the upstairs & downstairs apartments for income rental.
We live in the original portion of the house & use the addition for rentals. I love the openess of the high ceilings, which we kept white in the main house. The upstairs apt. also has vaulted ceilings but in natural wood color.
I'll take some photos soon to show the interior of the apts.
