That porch is my absolute FAVORITE room in the apt.....just great for having morning coffee or evening cooling out time...you can even see the sea from there if you lean on the side & look North!

In the afternoon, the front verandah is the bomb, because of the nice sea breeze!

Ja Jewel - I havent seen dark tile like that before. Where did you get it because I really like the contrast. </div></div>

The tile is really not as dark as it looks in the pics...it's sort of a greyish green with a mottled finish...looks like slate. It was one of the few tiles I found that I really liked (most were too shiny and ornate or impractical colors) and lucky for me, it was a decent price!

I bought it at one of the big tile & bathroom fixture stores in Mobay...can't remember the name, but it's very near the airport on the bottom road going into town.

that's interesting. lawd knows all I see is white tile everywhere. my cousin has a cool blue slate looking tile in his house but he got it imported. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img]

Thanks Nyla [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blushing2.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/notworthy.gif[/img]....I'm really mostly an earth tone person, but I LOVE soft green shades, so did the upstairs with those colors and then went with more tropical Caribbean seashore colors downstairs....Really want to add alot more little decorating items downstairs but have to wait till the $ is there and then shop when I go back to the States.

Thanks for the photos JJ. I had the hardest time trying
to get decent pictures in that upstairs bedroom. Its hard to do it justice.
