uploading to user gallery

i've a number of photos to post in the user photo gallery from an email. i was able to post the first two some time ago, when i was only allowed to post one per day.

Today when i tried to post another i got a message that i don't have permission to upload photos. Have things changed with the board upgrade?

i tried to use photobucket but the Jcans.com photo did a better job of converting the photos which were originally bitmap as opposed to jpeg files.

Any help with uploading would be most appreciated.

o dang, Roots. it's a great program, allowing you to upload from your computer to the board. i can understand in a way the restrictions to one a day, but gee, no uploads at all...

I gave up to... tried again recently but the error was different - something about maximum storage on my album - deleted a few, got the same error...

The specs as I see them are:

Disk space allowed on your account: 1,000kb (1,024,000 bytes)
Disk space used on your account: 623,146kb (623146 bytes)
Disk space remaining for your account: 392kb (400854 bytes)

Basically, 1MB per user which is not a lot but then it depends on the size of the pics.

<span style="font-weight: bold">MG:</span> I'll have a look at the permissions issue, but there really shouldn't be a problem with your uploading. Not sure why you were only able to do one per day either, but with check with Xavier on it.

Really odd...because there really are no restrictions that I can see, and uploads is currently set to 6. I'll run it by X...

<span style="font-weight: bold">ETA:</span> The no restrictions apply to member access. Guests do not have permission to upload, so I'm curious as to whether that his how it is &quot;seeing&quot; you.

is there a separate login process for uploading?

As long as your logged into jamaicans.com, you should be able to access the gallery using the &quot;User Photos&quot; option. No additional login is required. I just tried uploading a test image and it worked fine.
