Nevertheless, when I got to Atlanta airport I had an entourage there to greet me: MarieK, mummy Mariek, daddy, MarieK, and cousin Mariek To say the apple doesnt fall from the tree is an understatement

We drove around for a bit and then mummy MarieK picked out a restaurant for us to dine in.

I get to MrsMarieK's house and see this sign posted on the garage door as an omen of things to come

After getting some much needed rest it was time to start <span style="font-weight: bold">Shopping </span> Now before you boys (and some girls) start rolling your eyes keep in mind that I said earlier that I normally dont spend alot of money on myself. I decided that this trip was gonna be all about me this time and if I remember to buy things for my family then lucky for them.

For once I was going to be a less responsible somebody and channel my inner <span style="font-weight: bold">Alpha Kitty</span> and buy what looks pretty to me

As luck would have it, MMK accidently found out that on of out that our favorite shoe stores had just opened an outlet &quot;just up the road&quot; - DSW

I tell ya, God is Good!!



Beginning of the Damage done to my credit card




Now I am not gonna post all of the shoes I bought but here is a little taste:



all of the shoes except for the boots are from DSW. The boots are from the <span style="font-weight: bold">Aerosole outlet</span> somewhere in Timbuktu. Yes, I did say Aerosole......wikkidly nice shoes in the outlet malls and not the granny business one normally thinks of when you say Aerosole.

Seeing as how MMK is a gold card member with AeroSole, if she comes down here then she can answer where the mall was

this sign cracked me up - only in the Dirty South





I tend to forget how spread out American cities are. To go anywhere including the corner grocery store is a minimum 15 to 1 hour drive in any direction. Needless to say, much of my tourist shots were taken from the passenger seat of MMK's car.

TLC - I tried hard to remember exactly where some of these places where but I couldnt keep them straight

I do remember that the Gin House Rd wasnt too far from MMK's house. She'd have to come say where it is.
