The Devonian Botanic Garden was established in 1959 by the University of Alberta, and is a unit of the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences.
The Garden includes an authentic Japanese Garden, attractive floral gardens, collections of native and alpine plants, ecological reserves, and is situated within an attractive rolling landscape of pine trees and wetlands. Connected gardens extend over 80 acres with an additional 110 acres of natural areas for visitors to enjoy.
