Thanks Nylah... she is a GREAT kid!!

So for you, I will continue with a few mor pictures to finish off this part of our trip....

We made it back down to the base of the mountain




and we were STARVED!! Now, I don't really eat meat, but Likkle Mo is a carnivore!! And she was hungry after two days of mostly just trail mix, nuts, fruit and water.... Emei is a very small town, and we were faced with our choices on the street on our way back to the hostel that we would stay in for the night...

or SQUISHY things - mesh bags of frogs, buckets of raw prawn, or gushy worm things...

I didn't have the heart to take a picture (or explain to Likkle Mo) the cage next to all of the birds which was filled with Chihuahuas other small mutts...

But suffice it to say, Likkle Mo was ready NOT to eat meat that night, and settled for her favorite dish of the trip - the Sichuan Stringbeans and sweet &amp; sour eggplant and rice and sichuan spicy noodles....

I think my favourite place you went to (so far) is the Xin Xiang Temple! I can just feel the 'natural mystic' in the air in those pictures. One of those quiet places, with warm air and high humidity and essence wafting through the air can catching your nose.

Love it - need directions...


And the mountian climb I liked too. It reminds me of the time I climbed the Blue Mountain Peak! You're right, the coming down part hurts more than the going up part!

I love that statue uppa top. The facial expression on it says &quot;So you're climbed the mountain to see me Mo. Congratulations! I shall now grant you three wishes&quot;

Call in sick for work and write about Guilin please..
