Was in Bangkok for a few days. It was a whirlwind trip over 4 days, and I wished I had taken more photos. I loved every minute of my stay. The people, the customs, the food and the SHOPPING!!!
I spent most of my time shopping. It was like an orgy of shopping for 4 days and I barely scratched the surface. Ok, enough about shopping. Bangkok is one of the top tourist destinations worldwide. Where they fall varies depending on which list you read. On arrival, the airport was packed, but things moved smoothly. It probably took an hour to navigate through immigration, baggage claim and customs.
Roads and highways were great. On the ride to the hotel I noticed plenty of luxury vehicles on the road. I didn't see many older cars either. It was either high-end luxury or late model mid-priced cars. Our hotel had about 40 prime parking spots. Who qualified for the prime spots....electric cars.
I know pollution is a serious problem in Asia, so it was nice to see so many spots right up front designated for electric vehicles. Each spot had a charger, I am not sure if there was an additional fee to charge a car.
